Mr Dickinson an interview in respect to the above. In accorda
with the permission then granted, our Mr Dickinson has unoffici
submitted details of the equipment to Mr Trotter, Electrical
Adviser to the Board of Trade.
Mr Trotter has promised,
requested by your Department to do so, to report upon these fo
information of the Governor of Hong Kong.
We shall therefore be extremely obliged if you will be ki
enough to request him to do so.
As this procedure is to expedite the construction of the
tramways we do not wish your Department to be put to any expons,
and are therefore prepared to refund the fee paid to Mr Trotter
for reporting upon the question.
